Trainee CNC Turner

Telmar CNC Limited is a family run business, we’ve been operating for over 30 years. Due to a rapidly expanding customer base we are looking for a trainee CNC turner to join our team.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and reliable person who would be willing to be trained to operate a CNC machine within a manufacturing environment. We will be offering in house training with our experienced team and external training providers when required. You will be a key part of delivering projects for clients from the automation, automotive, electrical, defence and pharmaceutical industries.

Telmar specialises in manufacturing metal components and are looking to expand their team with a candidate who is willing to learn with excellent attention to detail. The suitable candidate will be required to input data, program and operate the machine and continually keep it running to the workshop schedule. Loading the machine with items to be machined, which can be quite heavy and ensuring that the machine is properly maintained. Additional workshop duties will also be included when required.

If you are looking for an opportunity to learn a key skill and become an essential part of an experienced workshop team, then this could be the role for you. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment would be an advantage but college leavers and apprentices would be most welcome to apply.

Experienced CNC Miller

Telmar CNC Limited is a family run business, we’ve been operating for over 30 years. Due to a rapidly expanding customer base we are looking for an experienced CNC miller to join our team.

If you have experience in programming and operating CNC mills, fully understand Fanuc controls and are able to work to tight tolerances in different materials, this could be the role for you. You will be a key part of delivering projects for clients from the automation, automotive, electrical, defence and pharmaceutical industries. The ability to program the machine is essential. Programming can be done online or offline using our OneCNC software. Experience of using offline programming software would be an advantage.
